It provides support for a wider range of DVRs. Many new DVRs have default ports such as 37777, 34567, 8000, 5800, or 8101; similarly, some older DVRs may use these ports as well. The app sometimes mistakenly identifies old DVRs as new devices, leading to performance issues. To address this, users can select the "Only Support old device" option in settings and restart the app to ensure proper compatibility with older DVRs.
